Moringa

 MORINGA OLEIFERA

Moringa is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree, cultivated throughout the tropics and subtropics worldwide.

Dating as far back as ancient Egyptian and Roman times, the moringa tree has been used for a wide variety of purposes across different traditions and cultures, including cosmetics, medicine, water purification, and - of course - nutrition.

 NUTRITION

Moringa leaves are nature's complete and perfect super-vitamin for your body. Jam-packed with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, moringa leaves per gram contain:

More vitamin A than carrots
More vitamin C than oranges
More iron than spinach
More potassium than bananas
More calcium than milk
More protein than yogurt.

Adding a little bit of moringa to your daily routine brings huge benefits to your health. In addition to the overall vitamin boost, the antioxidants fight damaging and cancer-causing free radicals, while unique nutrients and amino acids gently detoxify the body and aids digestion.

Due to the short shelf life of the fresh leaves, we take the utmost care in harvesting, processing, and packaging our moringa leaves to bring you the best quality products available.

Since you can't come to our farms, we'll bring our harvests to you!

 TRADITIONAL USES

Moringa has been used for centuries in traditional herbal medicine across the world. Because of its high iron content, moringa is often used for "tired blood" (anemia), and as a natural pre- and postnatal vitamin for expecting and new mothers, who are more susceptible to anemia. Research has also shown that in addition to combating anemia, it has a dual purpose for breast-feeding mothers as an effective galactagogue.

It is also commonly used to naturally combat hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol, claims which have been extensively researched and backed through scientific clinical trials.
